I went with a TC33D w/SS & 7308 loader for $16500. With only 60 hours on it, I've had only 1 real problem - the entire dash had to be replaced due to the tack & hour meter not working. The New Holland seemed to be heavier built & better engineered. I was equally impressed with the smaller smaller Kubota B2910 which I think actually gets more power per pound to the ground better than any. Kubota's HST is probably the best from what learned. In the end, the dealer, price, & financing made my decision. I think that I would have been happy with either machine. The Boomers are popular, Kubota undeniably reliable, Deere questionable quality & service...

My TC33 does have the work spot light, which is very handy at dusk, that is connected by the signal light. It does have its own switch as Micheal pointed out. Power to this light is ran through the ignition switch.

I have a NH TC33D with about 20 hours on it. My dealer is going to come & pick it up service it & only charge me for the Filters & fluids. I will probably have balast put in the tires & forks on the loader bucket also. My dealer does not charge for the service or pick up. Try to get yours to do this or is my guy just too nice?

I'm starting to clear 2 acres of my 5 total acres of wooded land. First, I'm trying to clear up & pile up brush & downed small trees. I will also get into some larger trees later in the summer. I have a NH TC33 w/loader & 7' blade to work with. Any hints on pushing trees & brush around? Are there forks for the NH 5' heavy duty bucket? I'm trying to cut down my time while maintaining safety. I already smashed in my grill screen a little on my new tractor! Any help would be appreciated...

I'm looking at a Woods 6' RM306 mower for my TC33D. This unit appears to be pretty old but solid & the pully gears seem tight. Does anyone have any experience or opinion about this model. This guy is asking $750 for it which seems high to me, but I am just learning about these things. I have heard that the Woods is a good brand.

I ended up at $16500 for a TC33D w/SuperSteer & 7308 loader + minor bells & whitles. This was in SE Ohio & I would not expect to match it but consider it a target.

I was considering having side plates fabricated to mount on the sides of my Lands Pride 7' blade. My idea is to have something close to a box blade setup for times when I want to "move" more dirt while preparing our property. Has anyone done this or seen it done? Are there problems with this idea? I know that withour the scarifers, that this would not function like a real box blade, but thought that it would work better.

I paid $16,500 for a TC33D w/SuperSteer, 7308 loader, & some other bells & whistles, but no mower. The 914 was quoted to me for about $2000 more.

I saw an implement for sale that looked like the basic make up of a cultivator, but it has "v shaped" cutting edges loosely attached to the rotating pto driven mechanism by large chain links instead of rotating blades like on a cultivator. It also has a heavy steel cylinder that travels behind these cutting edges. Is this thing a chain harrow or a pulverizer? OR something else? It is an older unit made by Ford & is about 6' wide...

I like my Boomer so far. The tac did stop working & the dealer has one ordered one for me. My TC33D (33 horse power) with Super Steer & loader cost me $16500 which is a GREAT deal. The best price that I got for a Kubota B2910 (30 horsepower) with loader was $17000. The New Holland is larger, heavier & has updated technology & ergonomics. The Kubota has an impressive drive train (great hydrostat transmission) & excellent maintenance track record. One important factor, which others on this board will probably repeat, was that I really liked the New Holland dealer & he gave me a GREAT deal & a "warm & fuzzy feeling" regarding his desire to service my needs as his customer. He, his wife, & daughter ran this small dealership I trust him. He gave my daughter a toy Boomer! The Kubota dealer was also a New Holland dealer, BUT spent most of his time talking down the Boomers & trying to "sell me" instead of service my business. This guy was a "salesman" ;( Good luck & have fun shopping - Don't get in a hurry... I emailed some comparison specs for some similar JD, Kubota, NH & Cub Cadet models for you to review...

I just saw which thread I responded to a few minutes ago. What I actually bought was a TC33D w/SuperSteer, 7308 loader, R4's, arm rests, block heater for $16,500... I had been discussing different tractors over the past couple of months & I thought we were talking about the TC33D. I only have 10 hours on the unit, but so far, it is great...

I just paid $16500 for a TC33D S.S. w/7308 loader, R4's, block heater, & fancy seat/lights which was also as good a price that I was quoted for a TC29D. The dealer wanted $2100 for the 60" mid mower, but I believe that I am going for a pull behind mower when I need one. I did not load the tires with liquid ballast which would help with the loader, but would be detrimental for mowing especially if you get R4 tires. It sounds like the mowing is your main concern & if you are using the loader on or around the turf, then turf tires may be the best match for your situation. You should come up with some counter weight when using the loader like wheel weights or a 3pt implement. I don't have alot of experience, but that's these are some things that I have learned recently.

I am in S.E. Ohio. The best price that I received for a TC29D w/SuperSteer was $14000 & it was quoted from this same dealer. As far as getting the good price... This tractor was originally ordered by one individual & he backed out of the deal. Then another person wanted the loader installed & some other dealer bells & whistles added & then he also backed out of the deal. I may have just came in on a dealer who wanted to get rid of this item in his long term inventory. Otherwise, I had gotten down to either a B2910 Kubota or a TC29D from 2 specific dealers. I went to talk to the Kubota dealer & got mostly more sales pitches & negative claims toward the Boomers that he also sold. My wife went into this dealer & stated that we were buying a tractor today & if you give us the best price, you get the business. Originally he quoted me $18500 for the TC33D/superSteer/loader, then at first told my wife $17500, then $16500. I asked my 6 yr old weather she wanted a orange or blue tractor - she said "blue".

I just received my TC33D yesterday. So far we have had nothing but rain in Ohio. I will let you know how things go with it... if my wife lets me use it...

After several months of looking & researching from China to India to here, I think I'm going with a TC33D w/7308 (60" h.d.) loader. It came down to this model, the TC29D or the Kubota B2910. I could not say that one was better than another, but the best price & financing are the determining factors. I got the TC33D price down to $17500 total which is far from where I started. How does that sound to ya'll? Is this unit to big to mow 3 acres in a year or two? Initially, I have to clear the 3 acres with this tractor. Any opionions on blades or/vs box blades or implements useful in moving or toting down trees?

The 2910 has adjustable/extending 3 pt lower bars that also adjust easy, telescoping/tilt steering, hand control hydro lever (may enable one to use the right sided brakes for steering, of course a couple of more horses, and a few other minor bells & whistles if I remember right. 2910 seems to be about $1000 more than 2710...
